One of the bright members of the RSPP meeting – the VTB President Andrey Kostin – discussed the issue of nationalization of the largest Ukrainian financial institution PrivatBank with his colleagues. Making comment of the situation, Kostin noted that the financial center should have been taken away from its owner Igor Kolomoisky long before.
The Congress members also talked over the Russian Sberbank. The RSPP members discussed the participation of the financial institution in rendering of public services in electronic form. Igor Shuvalov (in the center of the picture) mentioned that at that moment not all the authorities were ready for the suggestion to turn the public services out of the government agencies.
The Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov answered the questions touching upon the measures aimed at deoffshorization. The official noted that at that date they came short of all the government's expectations, however the overall results of the campaign can be discussed later.
Elvira Nabiullina, the Head of the Russian Central Bank, reported to the congress public that nowadays the main financial institution of the country opposed the administrative allocation of cheap credit margins among “its” companies.
