In the new residential quarter, about 30 high-rise apartment buildings were built. The opening ceremony was attended by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

A new residential complex was erected in just a year. The construction battalions of the DPRK Army participated in the work.
The government will distribute the apartments in new homes among well-established employees, scientists and university professors.
On the street, where the new residential complex is located, there is a Center for the Development of Green Technologies. The whole new microdistrict will be provided with electricity due to geothermal and solar energy.
